I worked on morphological analysis and disambiguation task by deploying deep learning algorithms.

I designed and programmed a prototype of interactive mug with speech recognition and artificial intelligence capabilities. A paper based on the research was submitted to TEI Conference, 2017.
I designed an electro-mechanical system to take photos for 3D imaging. I worked on an optical cavity design project.

Hult Prize is a global $1M social entrepreneurship competition supported by Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). As the team, we developed one of the two ideas chosen from Turkey. Our idea was geared to regain the dignity of 10M refugees, with a special focus on women and children.
Our hexacopter drone (KUAV) won the Best Design Award in TUBITAK UAV Competition 2016. I was the head of the electronic design team.

I designed an interface on the FPGA board which drives specific IC circuits which are used in wireless communication.
I designed a Django web server for company’s cross-platform mobile application Piximony. I coded server-side communication part of the application, written in Ionic framework. I also added some features to mobile application. Piximony is a mobile application that allows its users to create questions about their pictures and share filtered pictures with their friends. Thus, they can make fun questions and remember their memories.
I created the user interface and added backend communication functionality to the front-end application written in the Swift language.
With a group of volunteering peers, we visited cities around the country to make the utmost dreams of the children with life threatening diseases. We raised funds and arranged events for children.
I have given free lessons on weekends to secondary school kids from families with low socio-economical status to support with their classes.
We held 5-week Arduino & Electronics Design Courses for the freshman engineering majors in the Koç University. We arranged 5-week Raspberry Pi Development Courses given by a Microsoft MVP which provided students with internship opportunities @ Microsoft. We organized Techno-Date which brings together students and tech startups. During the event students had the chance to listen-up numerous start-up journeys. We completed two projects with the team and appointed to local awards. These projects were Drone.NET and KUAV.
We organized 12th IEEE Turkey Student & Young Professional Congress in 2015 with 400 IEEE members in Koç University. We organized “Bi’ Fikir Bi’ Şirket” which is a 2-day comprehensive event for students interested in technology enterprises and startups, including seminars, workshops and entertainment. The event also comprises a competition for startups to receive support from Koc Incubation Center.
I have been involved in two branches of the society namely Make-A-Wish and KU Education Society.
